"Pasticciotto" from Lecce is a typical dessert of Salento, in Puglia, made from shortcrust pastry inserted in alluminum molds in the shape of a boat, stuffed with custard and backed.
What distinguishes Tiziano from others? Not the usual pre-cooked Pasticciotto to be heated.
To enhance the fragrance of the typical Salento dessert, Tiziano makes the Pasticciotto in special molds by hands, he freezes it and he sells the raw products. The final stage of cooking is entrusted to the purchaser: this is the authentic Salento Pasticciotto.
